Cartotecnica Moderna is a Benefit Corporation. Alongside economic goals, the company has chosen to integrate common-benefit objectives into its bylaws, committing to generate positive and lasting impacts on people and the community.
This choice makes explicit a way of doing business founded on responsibility, quality of relationships, and the creation of shared value over the long term.
Being a Benefit Corporation means taking on clear and measurable responsibility: guiding business decisions not only based on economic results but also considering the social and environmental consequences of its activities.
As established in the bylaws, Cartotecnica Moderna pursues specific common-benefit goals. In particular, the company has identified two core benefits.
Cartotecnica Moderna is committed to promoting the continuous training of its Talents – meaning employees and collaborators – and its reference community, with the aim of promoting professional, personal, and relational growth.
It sets up regular training courses that are accessible and consistent with the emerging needs of the organization and with changes in the productive, technological, social, and cultural context. This commitment extends to the enhancement of knowledge through mentoring, coaching, intergenerational exchange, and skill sharing, including with external stakeholders.
Cartotecnica Moderna is committed to promoting the well-being and mental and physical health of its Talents—and of all those who work and interact within its ecosystem—and to fostering the well-being of the community. It integrates this principle into its organizational choices, spaces, and daily relationships, with the aim of creating a healthy, harmonious, and caring work environment. With this in mind, it values dedicated spaces such as Moderna Park, designed to encourage contact with nature, socializing, and personal regeneration, and promotes a corporate culture focused on balance, listening, and shared well-being.
The common benefits were identified after a three-year process of analysis, consultation with internal and external stakeholders, and assessment of the company’s potential impact. This will enable us to:
Contribute to the cultural and social development of our territory through educational projects and community initiatives.
The three-year Impact Plan translates Cartotecnica Moderna’s benefit mission into a structured system of objectives, activities, and indicators. Through the Plan, the company defines its intervention priorities, engages internal and external stakeholders, and monitors the results achieved over time.
Impact assessments allow us to measure the effectiveness of actions undertaken and identify new opportunities for improvement, fostering continuous learning and accountability toward all stakeholders. They are prepared consistently with the Sustainability Report, ensuring alignment between actions, results, and reporting. The first Impact Assessment is scheduled for 2026.
